What is the Certificate Add On?

The EventPilot Certificate Add On allows your attendees to download one of these certificates directly from within the mobile app:

  • Certificate of Attendance
  • Speaking Certificate (or Speaker's Certificate)
  • Credit Certificate (e.g. CE, CME, etc.)

Why should I use the Certificate Add On in my event app?

Create a Convenient Mobile Experience

A mobile-first experience makes certificate access significantly easier for attendees. Having certificates available directly in the conference app allows users to retrieve, download, or share documentation on demand without logging into separate systems or waiting for post-meeting emails. This is especially valuable onsite and during travel, when attendees rely primarily on their phones and need immediate access for compliance, reimbursement, or record-keeping purposes.

Reduce Administrative Burden

Free up your staff time and eliminate individual requests with manual certificate creation. Empower your attendees to download their own certificates as needed.

Provide Attendees with an Instant Proof of Participation

Add a certificate of attendance (CoA) as administrative proof of participation for your attendees:

  • Many institutions require a certificate to reimburse registration fees, travel, or professional development expenses. Attendees may need documentation for credentialing files, audits, or annual performance reviews.
  • Researchers funded by grants may need proof of attendance to meet reporting requirements.

Document Speaker Contributions and Professional Activity

Speakers often need a certificate of speaking to formally document their contributions to the conference. These certificates are used to support academic promotion and tenure files, demonstrate scholarly activity for annual reviews, and provide proof of participation for institutional or employer records. Listing each presentation is important because it accurately reflects the scope of the speaker’s involvement, supports CME or professional credit requirements where applicable, and provides verifiable documentation for audits, grants, or credentialing processes.

Simplify Credit Tracking and Certificate Management

With in-app credit tracking and certificate generation, you can automate claiming, credit management, certificate downloads, and reporting. Certificates are generated instantly and made available on demand, minimizing support requests.

Increase Evaluation Completion

Tie certificate access to completed surveys to help you capture timely, high-quality feedback that is often required for CME compliance, internal reporting, and future program planning. By linking certificate downloads to session surveys or overall meeting evaluations, you can significantly improve response rates, reduce post-meeting follow-up, and ensure feedback is submitted while the experience is still fresh. This approach streamlines data collection and supports more accurate assessment of scientific content and overall meeting effectiveness.
