Use this guide when you need screenshots of your app for testing, marketing, or iOS App Store submission.

Take screenshots on iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the screen you want to capture.
  2. Follow Apple's current instructions for your device: capture the screen on your iPhone or iPad.
  3. Find the saved image in your Photos app.

Take screenshots on Android

  1. Open the screen you want to capture.
  2. Press the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time. Some devices may use Power + Home.
  3. On some Samsung Galaxy devices, you may also be able to swipe down from the top of the screen and tap Screenshot captured.
  4. Find the saved image in your Screenshots album or default photo app.

If you are preparing your own iOS App Store submission screenshots

ATIV normally prepares the screenshot set used during submission. If you would prefer to create your own images, review Apple's current required and optional screenshot specifications before exporting your final assets.
