It is possible to organize your agenda data into parent sessions and subsessions. This is especially useful if you have sessions with individual presentations or abstracts. Your main session is the parent, and the shorter presentations become subsessions.
If you are using a third party data source, we will work with you or your contact with that source to set this up.
If you are setting up your data in a spreadsheet, take the following steps:
- Fill in the required fields like session title, session ID, and session type for the parent session and each subsession.
- Each subsession must fall within the time of its parent. It must also have the same date, and should have the same Session Type.
- Designate the subsessions by typing the ID of the parent session into the Parent Session column, like this:
- For parent sessions, leave that column blank. Sessions that have neither parents nor subsessions should also have this column blank.
- In the app and planner itself, subsessions will be listed at the bottom of the parent session. At the bottom of each subsession, there will be a link back to the parent session.
