What are personal session recommendations for dynamic discovery?

Modified on Fri, 27 Feb at 2:58 PM

Large medical and scientific meetings can include thousands of presentations. EventPilot helps you discover sessions that match your interests and fill open time in your schedule.

How recommendations work

Once you add at least three sessions to your personal schedule, EventPilot begins suggesting related sessions based on the topics and keywords from the sessions you selected.

Recommendations are shown for times when you still have open slots in your schedule.

Where to find your recommendations

Your personal recommendations appear as a card on the app Home Screen. New recommendations are refreshed daily.

If the AI Assistant is enabled by the meeting organizer, you can always ask it to provide you additional personal recommendations.

Tips to improve your recommendations

For better suggestions, add more topic specific sessions you are interested in (e.g. If you are interested in pediatric cardiology, add a few sessions on that topic to your schedule). The more sessions you select, the more accurate your recommendations become.

Privacy and data use

Recommendations are based only on your activity within the meeting app, such as sessions you add to your schedule. Your personal information is not shared with other attendees.

Organizer settings

Recommendation features depend on the configuration chosen by the meeting organizer. Some meetings may have personal recommendations disabled.

FAQ

Why am I not seeing any session recommendations?

Add at least three sessions to your schedule. If the system can find recommendations for you based on those sessions, you will see the recommendation card on the Home Screen the next day. If the AI Assistant is enabled, you can start asking it for recommendations immediately after adding a few sessions to your schedule.

If recommendations still do not appear, the meeting organizer may not have enabled this feature.

Are session recommendations based on my personal data?

No. Recommendations are based only on sessions you select and if they have related sessions in the general meeting content.

Why are sessions suggested that don’t match my interests?

If sessions do not have session descriptions, recommendations may be limited to session title content or filter keywords. Adding more sessions to your schedule will help refine future recommendations.

Can I turn personal session recommendations off?

You can ignore them or close the card on the Home Screen.

Do personal session recommendations update automatically?

Yes. They refresh each day.

If the organizer enabled the AI Assistant, you can ask it to generate recommendations for you on the fly.

Does the AI Assistant use my notes or messages?

No. The AI Assistant uses only meeting content and your selected sessions to provide suggestions.

Where do I find recommended sessions?

Look for the Recommended for You card on the Home Screen.

Why don’t recommendations fill every open time slot?

Suggestions depend on session availability, time conflicts, and organizer settings. Not all open slots may have suitable matches.
