Audience: Event Organizers
Yes. A user can be logged in on multiple devices, which means they could share their login and enter the same Zoom Meeting or Webinar from more than one device.
How it works
The app is designed so that a user can switch between multiple devices and be logged in on an iPad, the desktop planner, and an Android phone, for example, all at the same time.
This means a user could share their personal login with others, and those other people would also have access to that user's personal schedule, notes, and Webinar or Meeting links.
If a user joins from multiple devices, Zoom hosts may see multiple instances of the same name in the participant list.
In Zoom, could a user take up more than one seat by entering the session from multiple devices?
As of May 22, 2020, Zoom added multiple login restrictions. For meetings that require registration, hosts can choose whether to allow participants to join from multiple devices. This is available under the Registration Options section of the meeting details in the Zoom web portal.
