Yes, most iOS apps can be installed on your Mac directly. 

1. Open the App Store app on your mac
2. Switch the toggle from Mac Apps to iPhone & iPad Apps

How do I remove the app included downloaded events? 

1. Open your Applications folder and search for the app > Delete
2. To clear any downloaded data:
   1. Open the Finder and press Cmd + Shift + G
   2. Enter this folder location ~/Library/Containers/
   3. Look for the app name and delete it
